How do paid clicks reach this site?
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send traffic here today. google ads attaches gclid to a link, microsoft advertising attaches msclkid, and Meta Ads attaches fbclid where a campaign runs. What does consent mode do?
Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied until the visitor allows storage. Acceptance updates the relevant states to granted. Declining or withdrawing sets all four back to denied, including Microsoft ad_storage.
ad_storage- Advertising-related storage is denied before choice and after decline.
ad_user_data- Advertising use of user data is denied before choice and after decline.
ad_personalization- Personalized advertising is denied before choice and after decline.
analytics_storage- Analytics storage is denied before choice and after decline.
Denied mode can transmit limited signals under platform rules. Denied storage does not mean that ordinary page, form or chat requests stop reaching the hosting provider.
How can I change or withdraw consent?
Select Accept optional storage in the banner to allow optional advertising and measurement storage. Select Decline optional storage to keep it denied. The Cookie preferences control in the footer reopens the choice on every page. A later decline or withdrawal applies immediately and sets the four Consent Mode v2 signals back to denied.
Global Privacy Control, including the Sec-GPC header, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. You can also clear site data in your browser. Clearing the browser record removes the saved choice and may remove the token used to resume a chat. It does not delete a submitted inquiry from server records. What still works after I decline?
